The Galleon offers a wide range of memberships to suit all ages and circumstances. Below are a few different membership options and prices to choose from but with over 30 different ways of doing your membership, we really can cater for one to twelve months plus. Please ring the membership department on 0161 445 0225 if you require anything claifying. Please click on the membership types below to view the different categories and their relevant prices. Normal Opening hours are: Mon - Fri 6.30am - 10pm. Sat & Sun 8am - 9.30pm. Last entry is half an hour before close. |

We offer a wide range of different membership types and ways to pay for your membership. We aim to provide something to suit all budgets. The main three ways of paying for membership are as follows:
1) A monthly no-commitment direct debit; the most flexible membership as this can be cancelled at any stage with one months written notice.
2) A 12 month minimum monthly direct debit; easy on the pocket if you know you want long term results.
3) By far the best value for money is the advance payment option; Pay upfront, anything 6months+ and get fantastic value for money!
All memberships can be frozen at any time for a small admin fee regardless of membership and reason.

Members aged 16-17yrs old have the choice of two memberships which are either being accompanied on each visit by a current member over 18yrs, or using the facilities on their own unaccompanied. 16-17year old members may be asked for proof of age on application.
Anyone in posession of a valid student card also benefits from the freedom to enjoy and use all the clubs facilities, all hours at a discounted rate. If 18 years or older, valid student ID must be shown on application.

Juniors (13-15yrs) must be accompanied by a guardian or adult member (who is over 18years of age) whilst using the facilities. Along with access to our great pool, our new family gym caters for youths 10years and older, offering a fantastic way to introduce younger members to health and fitness. Juniors are currently not allowed to use the main fitness rooms.

Children (4-12yrs) must be supervised at all times by an adult when in the club. Along with access to our great pool, kids classes now start at 4 years old so there is something for all children. Children (0-3yrs) must be supervised at all times when in the club. The Galleon Leisure Club offers infants complimentary membership until the age of 4years old (please note extra charge for swimming lessons, please see below)

Access as above for Infant, Child or Junior Memberships the swimming lesson membership also includes one swimming lesson per week (certain holiday breaks not included) with our highly qualified swimming teachers.
We can cater for swimming lessons from the age of 3 and over. Swimming lessons are a fun way to learn and improve children’s overall swimming technique (badges & awards are also available).
For all abilities; one-to-one coaching is available for adults and check out the Masters Swimming lesson sessions on the pool timetable.

Swimming lesson memberships can either be paid by a no-commitment monthly direct debit which includes both swimming lessons and membership, or if you have purchased one of the above annual upfront memberships, then you can get this membership as a no-commitment "Swimming Top-Up" monthly direct debit which can be stopped and started throughout the year.
